Insulation and drylining distributor Avonside Insulation Supplies Ltd has recently taken delivery of a brand-new Loadmac 825 truck mounted forklift. The machine is the 500th Loadmac 825 to be manufactured in Britain, 8 years after Avonside purchased the first ever Loadmac 825.
It was 2011 when Avonside Insulation decided to buy the very first Loadmac 825 ever made. Built in Britain with its highly acclaimed one-side offload system and a genuine 2.5t lift capacity, Avonside were impressed with with what they saw and decided to order the first machine to join their fleet.
Fast forward the clock 9 years and the insulation and drylining distributor has just taken receipt of their 5th Loadmac 825, which is also happens to be the 500th Loadmac 825 manufactured at Loadmac’s West Midlands factory. The machine will join the company’s Avonside Supplies division and Timothy Tams, Stoke-on Trent’s Avonside Supplies’ Branch Director, explained why the company continue to choose the Loadmac 825: “It has always been very reliable for us. Our drivers have commented on how easy it is to use on-site and on rough terrains – we’ve never had a stuck vehicle!”
Tams continued, “We were really pleased to have taken the first Loadmac, and the fact that we’ve now been able to take the 500th is great. It shows our commitment to them and their commitment to us. We’ve changed an awful lot as a company, but Loadmac has grown with us. We’ve had very, very few issues and if we have, there’s always someone at the end of the phone.”
Loadmac has steadily grown their market share over the last five years and declared themselves ‘the new name for truck mounted forklifts’ in 2019. Loadmac Managing Director, Mark Hignett, commented, “To supply Avonside their 5th Loadmac 825, and the 500th Loadmac 825 is a tremendous achievement and testament to the quality and reliability of our 100% British designed and manufactured product. The 825 continues to be our flagship model and with some exciting updates this year, plus the launch of our new Loadmac 225, we look forward to passing 1000 Loadmacs manufactured at our factory in the West Midlands within 2 years.”
