A team of four ABT Loadmac apprentices have recently returned from Donington Park race track, where they had the opportunity to be driven round the track at top speed by our MD, Mark Hignett.

Accompanied by apprentice co-ordinator Melvyn Taylor, the day out was designed to reward the team for their hard-work and progress made during the first stages of their manufacturing career within the ABT Loadmac factory.

ABT Loadmac sponsor a racing team in the Radical racing series, and Mark – a qualified racing driver – took the group out one at a time in the Radical and a Porsche, getting the most out of the cars on what was a wet day on track.

The group remarked that the experience was “a brilliant day” and “an amazing experience”
